Overview

Configured for universal current signal acquisition and I/O processing in Honeywell control systems, the Honeywell CC-TUIO31 (CC-TUIO31 Universal Input/Output IOTA Module) accepts 2, 3, or 4 wire current devices and processes 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA signals through a 16 bit A/D converter. Honeywell Process I/O and HART Interface

The CC-TUIO31 processes current signals from 2, 3, or 4 wire field devices. It supports both 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA input ranges and applies 16 bit analog-to-digital conversion.

Furthermore, the module provides HART 7 support for analog I/O. Each channel includes a HART modem, which supports digital communication with compatible HART field devices while the analog signal remains available for I/O processing.

The module scans inputs at a 10 ms rate. Therefore, applications requiring priority I/O processing can use its Fast Scan function. The module also provides electronic short circuit protection.

The specified normal mode rejection reaches 18 dB at 50 Hz and 20 dB at 60 Hz. In addition, channel-to-channel crosstalk remains specified at 60 dB from dc to 60 Hz.

The module supports configurable FAILOPT behavior for Digital / Analog Output functions on a per-channel basis. The supplied specifications also define an extended module ambient temperature range of -40 to +70 deg C.
