Overview
The CC-GAIX11 module, part of Honeywell’s Experion Series C, is a high-performance analog input IOTA module that supports 16 channels. It actively accepts high-level current or voltage inputs from classic two-wire or self-powered transmitters, ensuring precise and reliable measurement of critical process variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow in industrial automation environments.
Furthermore, the Analog Input Module processes high-level current or voltage signals from transmitters and sensing devices efficiently. Each channel includes a 250-Ohm load resistor, connected to the input terminal via a wire jumper on the IOTA. Users can cut this jumper on channels intended for voltage transmitter operation. Additionally, for channels 13–16, the low-side input is normally tied to system common with a wire jumper, which users may cut to enable differential operation, provided it remains within the CMV specification.
