Overview
The Honeywell 8C-PAIM01 is a coated Low-Level Analog Multiplexer (LLMUX) Module designed specifically for the Experion C300 Series. It provides up to 64 temperature input channels, handling both Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) and Thermocouples (TCs). Therefore, engineers can achieve precise temperature measurements in demanding industrial environments.
Moreover, the LLMUX I/O module actively supports up to 64 channels of temperature inputs. Low-level inputs connect through the Honeywell PMIO LLMUX FTA, and each FTA manages 16 channels. The module accommodates two types of LLMUX FTAs. One type offers 16 RTD inputs, while the other provides 16 TC or millivolt (mV) inputs. By combining these FTAs, users can flexibly configure the system to include any required mix of TC, mV, or RTD points. This flexibility allows seamless adaptation to various process control applications.
