Overview
The Honeywell FC-DCOM-234/485 is a versatile communication interface module that connects industrial devices with speed and reliability. It actively manages protocol conversion between RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, so engineers can maintain compatibility across diverse control systems without interruptions.
In addition, the communication FTA DCOM-485 serves as the dedicated RS-422/485 interface for Safety Manager. Through this module, Safety Manager gains direct access to RS-422/485 facilities, supporting Manchester, FM0, and FM1 modulation or demodulation. Moreover, it ensures smooth operation at both 1 Mb and 2 Mb, which makes it ideal for demanding safety-critical applications.
