Overview
Safety Manager ModuleThe Honeywell FC-BKM-0001 is a critical component in the Safety Manager series, serving as the Battery and Key Switch Module. It provides essential power backup and manual control interfaces for the system’s processor, ensuring uninterrupted operation and secure access control.
Designed for industrial environments, the FC-BKM-0001 features a compact form factor and robust construction. It supports 24 VDC power supply with a wide tolerance range, making it adaptable to various power conditions. The module is suitable for DIN rail or panel mounting, offering flexibility in installation.
The Battery and Key switch Module (BKM-0001) is located in the Controller chassis (see section CPCHAS0001 or CPCHAS-0002 or CPCHAS-0003).
There is only one BKM-0001, even in a redundant Controller chassis.
The BKM-0001 contains the following items:
Two batteries (one for each Control Processor)
Force Enable key switch
Reset key switch
