Overview
The CC‑TAOX61, a key component of Honeywell’s Experion Series C, is a redundant analog output IOTA module designed to deliver 16 channels of high-precision 4–20 mA signals. This module is specifically engineered for demanding industrial automation environments, where accuracy, reliability, and continuous operation are critical. Moreover,the CC‑TAOX61 features HART communication and integrated diagnostics, which together provide real-time monitoring, fault detection, and precise control of connected actuators and measurement devices. These capabilities ensure operators can maintain optimal system performance while minimizing downtime and operational risks.
In addition, the Analog Output (AO) Module provides high-level constant current to actuators as well as recording and indicating devices. Furthermore, this Series C I/O function can detect and annunciate open field wiring, offering a Channel Soft Failure indication to enhance system reliability.
