Overview
The Honeywell CC-GAOX21 is a GI/IS Analog Output Module designed for Experion PKS Series-C I/O systems. It provides 16 channels of 4–20mA analog output, ensuring precise control in hazardous environments. This module is intrinsically safe, making it suitable for use in explosive atmospheres.
Series C AO module supports the FAILOPT parameter on a per channel basis. The user can configure each channel to either HOLD LAST VALUE, or SHED to a SAFE VALUE. The Output will always go to zero, the safe state, if the IOM device electronics fails.
The model CC-GAOX21 Analog Output IOTA provides up to sixteen 4-20 mA output channels. This IOTA does not support redundancy and accepts only the dual-channel GI/IS isolator below:
• MTL4549C – two channel HART® with open wire detection.
• MTL4599 – dummy, terminates unused connectors
