Overview
The Honeywell FC-BSDOL-04UNI is a range-setting module specifically designed for Honeywell’s Safety Manager SC system. It connects directly with the SDOL-0424 module, allowing precise adjustment of current sensing thresholds across four output channels. By providing this capability, it enhances diagnostic accuracy and simultaneously prevents false lead-break detection on unused channels, ensuring reliable operation in safety-critical applications.
The BSDOL-04UNI module features multiple break-off sections, which simplify installation and customization. Firstly, the main section (BSDOL-04) must be mounted on the programming connector (Px) of the IO backplane. It offers four range-setting positions corresponding to channels 1 through 4, as detailed in the table below. Additionally, the module includes sixteen range-setting sub-modules (4× type S, 4× type L, 4× type M, 4× type H). These sub-modules must be placed into the four designated positions on the main BSDOL-04 section, ensuring accurate and flexible configuration.
