Overview
The Honeywell 8C-TDIL01 is a coated Digital Input Sequence of Events (DI SOE) IOTA designed for the Experion C300 controller within the Series 8 platform. It provides 32 channels of 24V DC digital inputs, delivering high-speed event detection with a 1 millisecond sequence of events (SOE) resolution. The coated design protects the module against environmental contaminants, ensuring reliable operation in industrial applications.
This Series 8 IO function can detect and annunciate an open field wire. In addition, a seemingly valid PV from a channel diagnosed as having an open wire will provide a status of “invalid” (thus preventing incorrect control action).
