Overview
The Honeywell 8C-PAIMA1 (Part No. 51454473-175) is a precision analog input module designed for the Experion C300 Controller. It supports 16 isolated channels capable of reading various thermocouple (TC) and Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) sensors, making it ideal for high-accuracy temperature measurements in industrial automation systems.
The Low Level Analog Input (LLAI) Module accepts up to 16 channels of temperature inputs from RTD & TC. The Temperature variable is collected from all points at a 1 second rate. The 1 second update includes a configurable check for Open Thermocouple Detection (OTD) (see below) before propagation of the temperature variable. All TC inputs include integral Cold Junction Compensation (CJC).
