Encoder and Position Processing

The ISI202 accepts two encoder input channels for incremental and SSI position feedback. It processes encoder counts through a full 32 bit counter, allowing the controller to retain position information for motion-related functions.

Furthermore, four fast digital inputs accept initiator and trigger signals. These inputs can initiate position measurement or position storage according to the application logic.

The module also provides two 14 bit analog outputs. Therefore, the controller can use processed positioning information for analog signal generation where the application requires it.

Virtual values support functions such as zero pulse and speed calculation. In addition, SYNC and PreSYNC provide synchronization mechanisms for coordinated position processing within the control system.
