Overview
The Honeywell FC-QPP-0002 belongs to the Safety Manager (FSC) series and functions as a high-performance quad processor pack. It integrates four advanced CPUs that operate simultaneously to execute multiple safety-critical processes. By offering fast diagnostic feedback and redundant communication, it helps maintain system integrity in demanding industrial environments.
The Quad Processor Pack (QPP-0002) is the second generation (enhanced performance) processing module of Safety Manager and is located in the Controller chassis (see section CPCHAS-0001 or CPCHAS-0002 or CPCHAS-0003).
The QPP-0002 is backwards compatible with, and a one-on-one spare part for the QPP-0001, when installed in Safety Managers running R121 firmware or higher. .
